Upcoming Cheers for Chimps and Other Off-site Events
Join us at local offsite business venues that host events to help raise awareness and funds to support the chimpanzees! Each Cheers event includes a Project Chimps glass, one free pour of a featured drink and a snack. Other events may feature special activities, auctions, meals, and more. Friday, Nov 6, 2026, 5-7 pm
Raise a glass for Rocko at Cairn View Winery in Jasper!
Ticket purchase includes:
- a souvenir stemless wine glass
- a complimentary pour of a featured wine
- a small snack (food is available on site for additional purchases)
- meet and greet with the Project Chimps team
Saturdays in October and November, 1-3pm
Participants follow a step-by-step lesson from a local art instructor while enjoying views of the sanctuary and observing the chimpanzees below.
What's included:
- Instructor-led painting class
- Easel, canvas, paints, brushes, and all painting supplies
- Guided sanctuary walk (an abbreviated tour)
- Bottled water
- A completed painting to take home
