Project Chimps is a sanctuary, but occasionally open for visits. We look forward to hosting our first public open house – Discovery Days – in May 2018. We also participate in community events and welcome private events organized to support our mission.

Discovery Days at Project Chimps

Location: Project Chimps, Blue Ridge, Georgia

Time and Ticket Price: TBD

A public open house for the entire family. Join us to tour the sanctuary; talk with our primatologists and caregivers about the chimps, their personalities and natural behaviors; and, hopefully, see the chimps in their new, forested habitat.  Participate in language lessons to learn how to “speak” chimp, work with our volunteers to create enrichment items, and enjoy challenging games that will test your chimp-ness before and after your scheduled tour.
