Celebrate HARLEY’s 15th birthday!

In the bustling community of Kareem’s group in Harmony, one chimp stands out with her youthful energy and fearless attitude. Meet Harley, the youngest but far from the smallest member of her group. Despite her age, Harley fearlessly challenges the older chimps for tasty treats and engages in playful antics with her groupmates. 

Harley may be the youngest member of her group but she refuses to let that hold her back. She fearlessly stands up to the older chimps when she spots them with delectable treats, showcasing her determination and confidence. Despite her distinctive brow ridge, which can give the impression of a perpetual grumpy expression, Harley’s playful nature shines through as she engages in daily challenges with her caregivers and enjoys spirited playtime with her groupmates Sarah and Amy. 

As the youngest chimp in her Harmony group, Harley is actively working on building her social skills with both the higher-ranking females and the four males. This process involves learning from her groupmates and adapting to the intricacies of group dynamics. Despite her age, Harley is determined to find her place and establish connections with her peers. 

Harley’s enthusiasm for food knows no bounds. She is an unabashed food lover and eagerly tries to snatch morsels from her groupmates, Almasi and Amy. This zest for all things culinary serves as a testament to Harley’s adventurous spirit and her willingness to explore new flavors and experiences. Additionally, Harley finds joy in playing with primate plushy animals, particularly those with long limbs. These toys provide her with both entertainment and a sense of comfort.
