Looking for a memorable place for a wedding, gathering, or a corporate event?
Project Chimps offers a very unique venue for corporate meetings and mixers, as well as personal parties like birthdays, anniversaries, bridal showers or weddings. The event field located behind our historic homestead cabin features majestic trees, open lawn areas, a historic barn, babbling creek, and a charming half-acre koi pond. The space offers a quaint and rustic setting with opportunities to hear occasional hoots of the nearby chimpanzees.
Daytime events can include private tours of the chimpanzee habitat. Evening events will not have the option of a tour as the chimps retreat to their private bedroom areas by early evening and would not appreciate the disturbance.
The setting and tour make for an unforgettable, unique event. And you have the satisfaction of knowing that your donations and fees all go to help support the chimpanzees.
Event Space Rentals and Tours
Private rentals of the event field start at $1,500 for a 36-hour rental and up to 150 guests. All canopies, tables, chairs, porta-potties and other supplies will need to be coordinated by the renter. Renters must also obtain adequate liability insurance.
The habitat tour is an additional $25/person and the maximum number of guests for a tour is 60. All tours must take place before any alcohol is served.
A Project Chimps representative will be available to assist when supplies are delivered and picked up from any third party company and will also be present to assist with parking throughout your event. Due to limited parking only 85 vehicles can be on site split between two parking lots.
There is a 50%, non-refundable fee, for us to hold a date for you. The full rental fee is due 60 days before your event.
