Development Program
The Philanthropy Department's goal is to raise funds and create meaningful relationships with supporters to keep the sanctuary functioning. They provide daily office and community services including processing donations, leading tours, writing campaigns, overseeing the Legacy Society, the Chimp Club and providing individual updates to chimp sponsors.
Including (but not limited to) food, enrichment, labor, routine veterinary tasks, etc, the average cost per chimp is $39,000 per year. The Development Program ensures we raise funds each year to support our mission of providing lifelong exemplary care to these amazing animals.
