Children are invited to “Chimp or Treat” in costume to see the sanctuary and enrich the lives of the chimps! 

• Each child will receive:
• A 45-60 minute, guided, walking tour, a special treat bag filled with vegan and palm-oil free candies as well as non-food treats items (temporary tattoos, erasers, etc.)
• The chance to see our chimps in their habitat areas

If you would like your child to participate in the Teal Pumpkin Project and receive only non-food goodies, please indicate this at checkout.

• Each 2-12 year old child's ticket comes with a free adult ticket!

• TOUR GROUP SIZE? Guided Walking Tour Details - All tour groups will have limited space to ensure that both chimps and humans can enjoy the tour.
• WHEN SHOULD WE ARRIVE? Guests are encouraged to arrive 30 minutes before the start time of your tour window.
• WILL WE SEE CHIMPS? Chimpanzee sightings are very likely but are not guaranteed as the chimps have the option to be visible or to hide in the forested outdoor habitat.
• HOW DIFFICULT IS THE WALK? Expect a 45-60 minute, moderate hike on gravel roads with some steep inclines. The hike can be challenging for young children, less active adults and those with limited mobility. The tour is not stroller-wheel friendly.
• IS MOBILITY ASSISTANCE POSSIBLE? If you have guests in your group who may not be able to complete a hike with a gravel road and steep inclines, we do have golf carts available. However, these are limited and on a first-come, first-serve basis. You must purchase the Cart Tour option from the time slots available. Due to limited cart availability, we cannot guarantee walk-up, day-of-event requests for mobility assistance. We will absolutely work with you if we can but understand that our cart options are limited.

• Directions and Parking - Your ticket will include directions to the sanctuary and parking instructions.
• What if it Rains? - Chimp or Treat is a "rain or shine" event.
• Not feeling well? If you, or anyone in your group, has not been feeling well or has been around anyone who has been sick, we ask that you please reschedule your tour for another time.
• Refunds - We do not offer refunds. If you cannot make the event, we will happily transfer your tickets into someone else's name or turn your tickets into a donation for the chimpanzees.
