Babette

Babette is a sweet and playful chimp who is very food motivated. She’s become a higher-ranking female in her group at the Laurie & Carlee McGrath Chateau and has formed strong bonds with her fellow female chimps.

Babette treasures her morning rituals, particularly the time spent on the porch during the first shift of the day. While her group members gather inside for breakfast, Babette takes advantage of the quiet moments outside to recline in her favorite spot on the porch hammocks. Whether she’s rubbing her back against the walls or lounging in the hammock, she seems to relish these peaceful moments before the day truly begins.

As a food-motivated chimp, it’s no surprise Babette enjoys most foods on the menu. However, she is especially fond of fruits! She becomes very lively with the winter weather, rolling around on her back and running loops in the bedroom.
