Duane was part of the most recent chimp transport to Project Chimps from the New Iberia Research Center in Louisiana! He made the journey to sanctuary alongside five other male chimpanzees and will soon meet the rest of his new group in Chateau after completing quarantine.

Duane is Leo and Kyrstin‘s full brother, and he definitely looks it! He has a goofy personality and likes to play with humans.

We’re excited to share more about Duane as he settles in!
