Jennifer

Jennifer July 2021
She might be the youngest member of her group, but to Jennifer, age is just a number! Jenny is a higher-mid-ranking female within her group.
She’s brave enough to jump in line with the boys at mealtime, always a part of grooming sessions, and even a member of the esteemed “Cool Girls Club.” Jennifer is a very active chimp. She loves to jump in any time she sees a good play session going on (especially if Jason is involved) and she’s always one of the last to return from the habitat.
Jennifer is never afraid to let other chimps or humans know what she thinks, and can be heard throughout the entire sanctuary if she’s unhappy with one of her group mates. But most importantly, Jennifer has one of the most contagious smiles with her trademark open-mouth grin!

This project would not be possible without our many generous individual supporters and volunteers. We rely on donations to fulfill our mission, including caring for our existing residents and expanding the sanctuary to accommodate those chimpanzees still waiting in the lab.
