Josh

Josh is a sweet chimp who loves the simple things in life: good food, good company, and long walks out in the habitat. Most chimps prefer to seek shelter indoors when it rains, but Josh loves spending rainy days outside. He is frequently the last chimp in his group to come in from the habitat for dinner. 

Often, Josh can be found during lunch hanging about with his mouth stuffed full of broccoli or eggplant! He loves the female chimps in his group, as well as his caregivers, who he sometimes will ask to play chase with him by playfully banging on the mesh. 

He takes his meals on his own time – one moment he will appear disinterested, and the next he will be nodding enthusiastically to signal to his caregivers that he is ready for his food.
