Kennedy

As a teenager, Kennedy’s grown a lot over the past few years! His caregivers say that he’s been doing well lately. Although he may appear tough on the outside, those who know him well understand he has a soft side, too. 

He’s a big fan of plush animal toys modeled after chimpanzees and tends to carry them around with him. Recently, he’s also taken a liking to a pink llama plush. According to his caregivers, sometimes he’ll carry three stuffed animals at a time with him to the upper bedroom to hug them close. He also still enjoys hanging out in the blue barrel before breakfast. 

Just like humans, chimpanzees have their own unique preferences. Kennedy, for instance, isn’t particularly fond of green vegetables. When he sees these items on the menu for dinnertime, he often takes his sweet time coming down from his favorite hammock or platform, but his appetite usually wins out in the end.
