Kyrstin

Kyrstin is quite the little firecracker! She is very playful, both with her chimp companions and her human caregivers, and she tends to get very excited during particularly intense play sessions. She is also a very loyal friend, often defending and offering reassurance to everyone after a conflict within their group. Her older brother is Leo and the two look almost identical!

Kyrstin still hangs out with her best friend Roxy, but she has also made new friends over time. Moonie, Kirk, and the other young females (Arielle, Mandy, and Roxy) all enjoy spending time with Kyrstin and playing with her. Kyrstin loves exploring the habitat and collecting small sticks throughout the day. She has been more active in body presentation training and has a favorite reward of dates and figs. 

Kyrstin has been getting more confident and standing up for herself more. She is not only taking evening enrichment but keeping it. In the past, she would either not come for the ices and such that the chimps get at dinner, or if she did, she would give hers to Roxy. With the new males moving in next door, Kyrstin has been taking advantage of her best friend being more interested in them than stealing her food.
