Roxy

Roxy is still as rambunctious as ever! She’s still close friends with Kyrstin, and she has been responding well to caregivers’ efforts to station her during feeding in one spot so that she can’t steal Kyrstin’s food. In the past, these two could often be found sitting together and even sucking each other’s’ thumbs. 

Roxy loves to be in the center of any drama that comes up in her group, but due to her low ranking she often ends up being the scapegoat for other chimps who get in trouble with the group. She and fellow groupmate Rocko have been seen spending a lot of quality time together lately, which is new! In the past, Roxy also spent time cozying up to other male chimps such as Maverick and Kirk. 

Roxy loves playing chase with her friends and swinging from all the firehouse hanging in her enclosures. She usually stays out exploring the habitat for longer than most of the other girls in her group, too.
