Sheena, the oldest female in her group, loves boots and watches and will ask caregivers to show them to her for a closer look. As far as food goes, she loves peanut butter, enjoys peanuts and apples but only tolerates carrots. When you come for a visit, you may notice Sheena right off because she almost always has a stuffed toy chimp with her, carrying it on her back or shoulders while walking through the habitat. So, if you see a chimp in the South Peachtree Habitat who’s napping with a plush chimp while enjoying the sunshine, it’s probably Sheena.
She loves green beans which earned her the nickname “Sheen Bean” (or even “Beans” for short), which she responds to.
