Taz

Taz has been doing fantastic in his role as group mediator. Whenever there’s any drama in his group, caregivers can often find him calmly deescalating the situation. He also can be seen giving comfort and reassurance to all participants once the conflict has settled down. 

While Taz loves his food, he is polite when it is time to eat. He doesn’t shove or push his way to the front, instead patiently awaiting his turn and sometimes even allowing the younger females to get their food first. But he might have an ulterior motive in doing this — he may get an extra treat or two for being patient! 

Recently, caregivers decorated bedroom area with wildflowers from the Peachtree habitat. Out of his groupmates, Taz was the most interested in checking out the flowers! He’s such a chill guy that his caregivers recently got photos of him lounging around with his head dangling off the platforms.
