Tommy

Tommy was part of the most recent chimp transport to Project Chimps from the New Iberia Research Center in Louisiana! He made the journey to sanctuary alongside five other male chimpanzees and will soon meet the rest of his new group in Chateau after completing quarantine.

Tommy is a smaller chimp, so small in fact that when standing, he’s the same height as Tory sitting down! He stands out in his group visually due to his hair, which is lighter at the ends and reminiscent of frosted tips.

Tommy is also a fabulous nester and avid lover of juice.
