Vicky

Vicky is one of the younger females in her group. When she first arrived, she was very skittish, often hiding and making it difficult for her new caregivers to find her. Over those first few weeks she slowly opened up and showed new sides of herself. Now, we recognize her as a sociable and sweet female that’s started venturing out into the habitat more often! She’s also particularly good at tool use and solving enrichment puzzles. 

Vicky has good relationships with the other female chimps in her family and can often be seen playing with Nyia, Manetta, Babette, or Paul. One of her caregivers’ favorite personality traits of hers is her distinct food chirp she makes when excited. You can often spot her sitting on the frontal tree stump in South Peachtree Habitat or running laps with Manetta inside!
