Zana is a very patient and quiet chimp and is always observing everything. She is last to take food, preferring to let the other females go first since they are more demanding and impatient. However she spits on humans during play, but also uses it to tell you she is mad at something you’ve done. She did not hesitate to go out into the habitat, but she was nervous of the habitat at first and would frequently be seen holding on to posts or trees. She seems to be much more comfortable now and doesn’t hold on to everything around her.
