Who's Who in Chateau Group 2?
About This Group
The Laurie and Carlee McGrath Chateau is the largest building at the sanctuary and houses two distinct groups! Chateau Group 2 is usually less rambunctious than Chateau 1, namely because the boys are a bit older and they have a strong hierarchy. At one point, this group housed seven "indoor only" chimps who rarely or never choose to go into the habitat. Since then, three of those original seven chimps have since started exploring the habitat regularly, and with time, our hope is that the rest may too!

However, it’s exactly what Hannah St John-Mosse discovered after traveling more than 4,000 miles to arrive at what she calls a “once in a lifetime opportunity” interning abroad here at Project Chimps.
