Who's Who in Chateau Group 2?
About This Group
The Laurie and Carlee McGrath Chateau is the largest building at the sanctuary and houses two distinct groups! Chateau Group 2 is usually less rambunctious than Chateau 1, namely because the boys are a bit older and they have a strong hierarchy. At one point, this group housed seven "indoor only" chimps who rarely or never choose to go into the habitat. Since then, three of those original seven chimps have since started exploring the habitat regularly, and with time, our hope is that the rest may too!

Chimp Chatter About This Group:
-
Like many of the chimps at the sanctuary, Vicky has her own nickname — Vicky Lynn! She loves juice, cardboard and banana leaf browse, as well as anything she can nest with.
-
Sasha has a mild and sweet disposition but that doesn’t mean she’s happy to let anyone else push her around. She’s high-ranking and has strong bonds with both the males and females.
