Who's Who in Chateau Group 2?
About This Group
The Laurie and Carlee McGrath Chateau is the largest building at the sanctuary and houses two distinct groups! Chateau Group 2 is usually less rambunctious than Chateau 1, namely because the boys are a bit older and they have a strong hierarchy. At one point, this group housed seven "indoor only" chimps who rarely or never choose to go into the habitat. Since then, three of those original seven chimps have since started exploring the habitat regularly, and with time, our hope is that the rest may too!

He may be small in stature but Lancelot also has a huge heart! Today’s his 20th birthday and we’re excited to celebrate at Project Chimps!

Chimps love a good puzzle. Sometimes though, complex puzzles and toys aren’t for every chimp. A squeaky toy can be all a chimp needs to have fun and Paul knows this. His favorite toy is as simple as they come, but he wont let that stop him from having fun.
