Contribute your skills in a wide variety of ways, from administrative work and special events to preparing meals and building enrichment toys; maintaining the grounds to repairing our fleet. As a Chimpanzee Caregiver at Project Chimps, you'll be a guardian of compassion, providing high-quality care to our chimpanzees in a safe and secure manner. Reporting to the Chimp Care Supervisor, you'll work closely with Caregiver Aides, other Caregivers, and our leadership team to create a nurturing environment for our chimpanzee residents. As a Chimpanzee Caregiver Aide at Project Chimps, you'll play a vital role in supporting our Caregivers and other personnel in their mission to care for our chimpanzee residents. Under the guidance of the Chimp Care Supervisor, you'll collaborate closely with Caregivers and other Caregiver Aides, ensuring that our chimpanzees receive the utmost care and attention in their sanctuary home. To excel as our Donor Relations Coordinator, you’ll need a Bachelor’s Degree in Non-Profit Administration (or a related field such as Hospitality or Philanthropy). Your outgoing personality will assist you in developing meaningful relationships with donors. A heartfelt commitment to the well-being of chimpanzees retired from research will drive your dedication to our cause.

Your days are filled with providing exceptional customer service responding promptly to calls, emails and other forms of communication. You’ll become the face of Project Chimps as you share sanctuary updates with donors, ensuring every interaction echoes our values and mission.

Your creativity shines as you craft and deliver personalized communication to donors through thank you letters, emails and phone calls ensuring each interaction reflects our gratitude and the impact of their support. Your understanding of their interests and motivations will allow you to identify opportunities for their deeper engagement.

You’ll have the ability to work independently, sometimes under strict deadlines, in a fast-paced environment. You’ll need strong organizational and time management skills and know how to prioritize effectively.

Most positions will receive an invite to interview through HireVue. You will receive a link and can record your responses using your home computer or phone webcam. Those selected for a second interview will be invited for a live virtual, or in-person, interview depending on your location.
