Almasi is one of the lower ranking females in Chateau A, but she is friends with all her group mates. She is kind to everyone and loves to play.
Almasi is also a great helper. For example, if it is time for dinner and we don’t have everyone back in from the outdoor habitat, she will let us know by sitting in the door while looking into the habitat.
She will also leave Chateau and go back outside to find her friends and let them know it is dinner time. A few minutes later, we will see all chimps, including Almasi, walking back to Chateau. Almasi is a great friend to have because she looks out for everyone.
