As a Chimpanzee Caregiver at Project Chimps, you'll be a guardian of compassion, providing high-quality care to our chimpanzees in a safe and secure manner. Reporting to the Chimp Care Supervisor, you'll work closely with Caregiver Aides, other Caregivers, and our leadership team to create a nurturing environment for our chimpanzee residents. As a Chimpanzee Caregiver Aide at Project Chimps, you'll play a vital role in supporting our Caregivers and other personnel in their mission to care for our chimpanzee residents. Under the guidance of the Chimp Care Supervisor, you'll collaborate closely with Caregivers and other Caregiver Aides, ensuring that our chimpanzees receive the utmost care and attention in their sanctuary home. As our Volunteer Coordinator at Project Chimps, you'll step into the role as the primary contact with volunteers by managing and oversees all volunteer activities within an organization with individuals who share our passion for animal welfare and a better future for chimpanzees. Your role is pivotal in developing relationships, recruiting, training, scheduling, supporting, and evaluating volunteers as they participate in meaningful opportunities to support our mission.

You’ll have the ability to work independently, sometimes under strict deadlines, in a fast-paced environment. You’ll need strong organizational and time management skills and know how to prioritize effectively.
