Local Residents Invited to Our Open House!

We are welcoming all local residents for an Open House event at the Project Chimps sanctuary on Saturday, June 25th from 2-4pm!

Before our first group of chimpanzees arrive, we thought it would be a great opportunity to invite our neighbors over for a meet and greet with our staff, a guided tour of the property to see all the work we have accomplished to prepare for the newest chimp residents of Fannin County, and have an open forum to answer any questions.

This event is FREE for all to attend, and refreshments will be provided by our friends at Blue Ridge Cotton Company.  PLEASE NOTE: there will be a lot of walking, so wear comfortable shoes!  There will be limited golf cart tours for those with mobility issues.  

We are located at 2031 Lowery Road, Morganton, GA 30560. If you’re coming from town, turn left from Highway 515 onto Loving Road. Stay on Loving Road for a couple miles until you see My Mountain Cabin Realty on your left, take that left. Stay on Old Loving Road for about a mile, until you see a little black mailbox on your right. As you approach the property, you will see signs directing where to park your vehicle and we will have staff members available to help with parking and shuttling.
