Meet Holly Chadwick our Digital Content Coordinator!

Holly and Harriett

By Gregory Rodriguez

Holly is one of the first people I had the pleasure of meeting when I first started writing for Project Chimps. She’s one of the reasons I write for Project Chimps today! Holly Chadwick is our Digital Content Coordinator. All of the video projects we use for our YouTube and social media content are her responsibility.

I’m now at the end of my internship and finally interviewed Holly.

Greatness from small beginnings

Holly’s career started out right when the internet was born. She was a film and digital media major, with an interest in coding. She built a website that worked as a job board for people looking for positions in the healthcare field. Holly began the next stage of her career here at Project Chimps last November and currently lives in Mineral Bluff, Georgia, which is a short trip to the sanctuary.

What digital content is she into?

As I spoke with Holly about her current aspirations, I had an opportunity to see who Holly is outside of work. Considering her background in film, I asked her who some of her favorite directors are. Her tastes are as weird as it gets! She revealed to me she is super into both Quentin Tarantino, and David Lynch. One of her more recent favorite films is titled “Cloud Atlas”.

One of Holly’s favorite moments creating content was when directed a 4-minute short based off Alice in Wonderland. The short created a spotlight on some enrichment activities the chimps participate in. Holly loves to edit the monthly celebration videos she helps create. Her favorite chimp to interact with is Harriett.

Where is she going?

Holly has plans for her future. As someone who has already directed a fictional show that’s been published on Amazon, Holly is in the process of writing a memoir that she hopes will be a bestseller. She details that she’s made it on the Amazon Bestseller list via publications she has contributed to, but she now wants to make it on the New York Times list all by herself.

You can catch more of Holly’s work on our YouTube channel!
