Nine New Chimps Arrived Today!

We are so excited to share the first look at our nine #NewChimps, Babs, Sky, Amy, Almasi, LB, Noel, Sarah, Loretta, and Harley!

Our journey began at 5:30 p.m. yesterday, as we left the New Iberia Research Center in southern Louisiana and drove through the night, arriving in Blue Ridge, Georgia, before sunrise this morning. These nine chimpanzees join 22 already in permanent residence at Project Chimps. Unfortunately, Kelly was not ready to join us on this trip.  She is being introduced to a new group and they will all join us in the near future. Learn more about the chimps’ arrival in our December newsletter and the #NewChimps arrival video.
