Transform your support into a lasting tribute. A naming opportunity at Project Chimps allows you to celebrate a cherished person, recognize a special milestone, or create an enduring legacy while advancing the care and well-being of retired research chimpanzees.
Your contribution directly benefits the chimpanzees by helping fund essential annual expenses such as food, enrichment, and habitat enhancements. As a charitable gift, your donation is tax deductible.
Unless otherwise noted, each opportunity includes a commemorative plaque recognizing your support.
If you have a specific location in mind, we would be delighted to explore additional options beyond those listed. Our staff can meet with you on-site to help identify a meaningful location and ensure your tribute reflects your vision.

Plaques are engraved brass signs starting at 3″x 5″ with no set character limit. Keep in mind letters get smaller to accommodate verbiage as needed. Graphics can be accommodated.

Golf Cart
With over 230 acres of forested, rocky terrain on campus, golf carts are what helps the staff and volunteers move supplies and get the work done for the chimps. Current carts are available to be dedicated and new carts are needed to complete the fleet.
A dedication graphic is added to each cart along with the cart's personal name!

Viewing Window
The Peachtree Habitat is surrounded by a large concrete wall with 8 windows where the chimps can view the guests who come to visit them.

Enrichment Station
Each chimp receives several enrichment activities each and every day. The dedicated volunteers hand-make these devices, clean, and refill them every day. The Enrichment Station houses all of our largest devices and serves as a workshop when new items are being constructed.

The Perch
Currently under construction - The Perch will allow guests to view the chimps from above the Annex, a 2-acre habitat off of Cedar Tree Villa. From this platform guests will be able to participate in feeding the chimps in our Lunch Launch program.

The Nest
All tours stop at The Nest and step inside where they can learn more about the chimp's journey from the lab to sanctuary and have an opportunity to be just inches away from the chimps at eye-level...if they come over to visit!

Project Harvest
Project Harvest is a 2 acre, three-tier area on the east end of campus. Since then, we have expanded the farmland, planted additional crops, added green houses, and hope to plant fruit and nut trees to establish an orchard as well.
The crops grown in Project Harvest are for the exclusive use of the chimps.
A dedication sign will be added to the main entrance of the farm land.

Sky Bridge
A new habitat is under construction, opening in 2027. A sky bridge will connect the Chateau to the new habitat for the chimps to cross the internal road. (Pictured is a current sky bridge in a different location.)
