Chloe

Chloe has the same piercing eyes and inquisitive stare as her mom, Rosemary. Because of her small and round stature, caregivers have given her the affectionate nickname “meatball!” She’s a very curious chimp and sometimes becomes fixated on new people, objects, or whatever is going on outside her windows. She also knows how to take advantage of a good opportunity. When the rest of her group is distracted, Chloe runs to grab her bestie, Lucky, and run to the nearest hopper to take their food uninterrupted! 

She loves watching movies we put on for “sensory day”. We have recently discovered that Chloe is not a fan of elephants when we showed her a movie and Chloe became alarmed when a big elephant appeared on the screen! 

As more time passes, Chloe continues to come out of her shell and deepen her bonds with her groupmates. She really loves habitat days and loves taking her lunch up to the tree platforms! Chloe is very sweet with her caregivers and likes to look right in your eyes before grabbing her food.
