Babs

Babs July 2021

With her towering presence and strong-willed nature, this Harmony lady is the talk of the town! Babs has managed to secure the top spot among the female chimps in her group, skillfully appeasing the males while maintaining order among the younger females. Although Babs has been known to occasionally steal food from her groupmates, caregivers have been working diligently with her to curb this behavior and she’s been getting better at keeping her hands off other people’s stuff.

Babs is close friends with Sky and LB, who often accompany her as she patrols the habitat. You can often catch them chilling and enjoying the vibes or maybe helping each other out with a quick grooming session.

Still, one cannot discuss Babs without mentioning her love for food. She loves all the food she can get her hands on, but especially seems to enjoy raisin boards. Her caregivers say she’ll be up at the top trying to get all the raisins she possibly can!
