Observers at Project Chimps have marveled at the transformation in Betty, who initially seemed more like an observer than an active participant in group dynamics. Seeing her grow and forge connections with her fellow chimps has been a heart warming experience for all. 

Her journey of growth extends beyond her relationships. Previously shy and reserved, Betty has become more assertive, particularly during mealtimes. She eagerly awaits her chow and produce, displaying a new found confidence that is delightful to witness. Her caregivers have noticed this change and it’s a testament to her development as an individual within the chimp community.
